Behind the guns is ammo, 31 air rifles and BB guns, a couple of parts guns for the tinkerer, and a stack of holsters, grips and cases. Firearm transfers are handled here in-house on our own FFL, so there is no third party to deal with. HOW THE SALE RUNS This is a live auction. Bidding opens Sunday, September 27 at 3 PM and the auctioneer sells the lots in catalog order. Bid in person at the warehouse or online at bid.doublesauctions.com, where you can bid live as each lot comes up or leave an absentee bid ahead of time. Register online before Sunday so you are ready when the first lot opens. FIREARM TRANSFERS Firearms transfer in-house on Double S's own FFL. Every firearm buyer completes the required federal paperwork and background check at pickup before taking possession, and must be legally eligible to receive a firearm. Bring a valid government issued photo ID with your current address. A buyer who cannot pass the background check still owes for the purchase. Air rifles, BB guns, ammunition, parts guns and accessories sell without a transfer. If you have questions about the process, call the office before you bid. PICKUP AND REMOVAL Monday, September 28, 8 to 6, at 6513 Storage Drive, Amarillo, TX 79110. Firearm transfers are completed at pickup, so allow a few minutes for paperwork. Each buyer is responsible for picking up what they buy. Items left after Monday begin accruing storage fees of $5 a day, and merchandise left 15 days is considered abandoned and reverts to the auction house. Bidding is a binding contract, so a buyer still owes for merchandise even if it isn't picked up. We do ship small lots only, and firearms ship only to a licensed FFL dealer. No ammunition shipped. Shipping runs through our office and you have to tell us you want it. You'll get a separate email to pay for shipping. PAYMENT AND BUYER'S PREMIUM Buyer's premium is 15%. Texas state and county tax is 8.25%. We take credit card, cash, Venmo, and check with approval. Credit card adds 3.5% and Venmo adds 1% on top of the cash price.
